World-Class Jury

Our jurors include internationally awarded photographers, editors, curators, and visionaries.

George Byrne
Urban surfaces photographer

George Byrne (b. 1976, Sydney) is a Los Angeles–based artist whose large-scale photographic works transform ordinary urban surfaces into painterly abstractions. Drawing on influences from modernist painting and the New Topographics movement, Byrne reframes the built environment with vivid color and formal clarity.

His photographs have been exhibited widely in the United States, Australia, and internationally, and are held in both private and institutional collections. His acclaimed monograph Post Truth (Hachette) is now in its third edition and has been published in English and French.

In 2024 Byrne debuted Synthetica, his fifth major body of work, merging analog photography with digital collage to create surreal urban dreamscapes. The series is touring internationally through 2026, alongside the forthcoming book Synthetica (Hachette, 2026).

Kahli Hindmarsh
landscape, night sky, and travel photographer

Kahli is a landscape, night sky, and travel photographer based in the Canadian Rockies.
Her imagery emerges from a deep-rooted curiosity and passion for the natural world, guided by a vision that blends artistry of light and emotional depth of place. Inspired by mountains, wild spaces, and travel, she seeks out moments of unique perspective from alpine ridges at sunrise to auroras dancing over frozen lakes. Her work for clients, including National Geographic, Disney, Travel Alberta, Parks Canada, and Canon, blends storytelling with a deep love for nature. Kahli runs workshops in Canada and around the world, helping others unlock creativity, connect with the outdoors, and carry that sense of wonder into daily life.
